Loop-Loc Safety Covers Long Island
The only mesh safety cover proven strong enough to support an elephant. Custom measured, professionally installed, and backed by a 15-year warranty.
There Is Only One Loop-Loc
Some pool covers keep leaves out. A Loop-Loc keeps your family safe. It is the only mesh safety cover proven strong enough to hold an elephant, and it has been the standard for pool safety on Long Island for decades.
As an authorized Loop-Loc dealer, we custom measure every cover to your pool's exact shape and dimensions. No two pools are the same, and no Loop-Loc cover is off the shelf. Each one is manufactured specifically for your pool and installed by our crew with anchors drilled into your deck.
Homeowners across Bay Shore, West Islip, Babylon, and Deer Park with kids and pets choose Loop-Loc because nothing else comes close. It is backed by a 15-year pro-rated warranty and may reduce your liability insurance. Check our safety cover installation service page for details on the full process, or browse all of our pool products.
What Makes Loop-Loc the Standard
Imitation covers exist. Here is why they do not compare.
Proven Strength
Double perimeter webbing. Double-thick straps. High-strength type 302 grade stainless steel springs. The large X-tacking on every strap is sewn manually for precise placement and maximum break strength. This is not a tarp with some springs. It is engineered safety equipment.
Superior Materials
The polyester bonded thread in a Loop-Loc costs almost 10 times more than what some competitors use. 87% black yarn for UV stability. Non-corrosive aluminum tips that are double-notched for stability. Brass anchors that recess flush with the deck when the cover is removed. Every detail matters when safety is on the line.
Patented Safety Features
Loop-Loc's patented CABLE-LOC, GAPGUARD, and PROTECT-A-GAP child safety intrusion barriers close gaps created by raised obstructions at the cover's edge. Steps, ladders, raised walls, diving boards. If there is a gap where a child could slip through, Loop-Loc has a patented solution for it.
Before and After Loop-Loc Installation
This is a real pool on Long Island. Drag the slider to see what a Loop-Loc safety cover looks like installed over an open pool. The cover blends into the backyard, the anchors sit flush with the deck, and the pool is secured until spring.
Loop-Loc covers come in standard Spring Green or four optional Designer Colors so you can match your landscaping and patio. When it is time to remove the cover in spring during your pool opening, the lightweight mesh design makes it easy for our crew to take off and fold in minutes.

How We Install a Loop-Loc Cover
Every Loop-Loc is custom built. Here is how the process works from measurement to installation.
Custom Measurement
We come to your property and measure your pool's exact shape, including all curves, steps, raised walls, and obstructions. These measurements get sent to Loop-Loc's factory where your cover is manufactured to fit your pool and only your pool. No generic sizing.
Anchor Installation
Brass anchors get drilled into your deck at precise intervals around the pool perimeter. Each anchor recesses flush with the surface when the cover is removed, so you do not trip over them or see them during swim season. The anchor layout is engineered to distribute tension evenly across the entire cover.
Cover Installation
Once the cover arrives from the factory, our crew installs it by stretching it across the pool and securing each strap to the deck anchors with stainless steel springs. We check every connection, verify proper tension, and make sure all gap barriers are in place. The pool is secured and your family is protected.
Mesh vs. Solid Safety Covers
Loop-Loc makes both mesh and solid safety covers. Mesh covers let rain and melting snow drain right through, so you never have standing water on the cover surface. That is the most popular option on Long Island because our winters dump rain and snow regularly from November through March.
Solid covers block all sunlight and debris, which means less cleaning when you open the pool in spring. They require a submersible pump on top to remove standing water. For homeowners who want the cleanest possible pool opening, the solid option delivers.
- Mesh: drains automatically, lightweight, easier to handle, most popular on Long Island
- Solid: blocks all light and debris, requires pump for water removal, cleanest spring opening
- Both types meet ASTM safety standards and carry Loop-Loc's 15-year warranty
- Both available in multiple colors to match your backyard
Why Safety Covers Matter on Long Island
Pools are common on Long Island. Most neighborhoods in Islip, East Islip, North Babylon, and Brentwood have multiple pools on every block. Kids walk between yards. Pets wander. An uncovered pool is an open hazard from October through May.
A Loop-Loc safety cover holds the weight of an adult, a child, and even a large dog without collapsing into the water. It is not a winter cover that sags and collects water. It is a safety barrier. Homeowners with children under 12 should consider a safety cover a non-negotiable part of pool ownership. Insurance companies agree, which is why many offer reduced premiums for pools with certified safety covers installed.
We install Loop-Loc covers during pool closing season and remove them at pool opening. One call handles it.
