The Cover That Actually Protects Your Family

A safety cover is not the same thing as a winter cover. Winter covers keep debris out. Safety covers keep people out. A properly installed Loop-Loc safety cover is anchored into the deck, stretched tight across the pool, and rated to hold the weight of a child, an adult, or a pet that wanders onto it.

We are a Loop-Loc authorized dealer. That means every cover we install is custom-measured to your pool's exact dimensions, manufactured by Loop-Loc at their factory, and installed by our crew using brass anchors drilled into your deck. No generic covers. No guessing on fit. Every cover is built specifically for your pool.

If you have kids under 12, a dog, or a pool that sits uncovered during the off-season, a safety cover is the single most important upgrade you can make. It is not a luxury. It is protection.

Why It Matters

Why a Safety Cover Is Not Optional

The CDC reports that drowning is the leading cause of unintentional death for children ages 1 to 4. Most of those incidents happen in residential pools. A fence helps. A safety cover adds another physical barrier between your family and the water when the pool is not in use.

Standard winter covers do not provide this protection. They sit on the water surface held down by water bags. A child or pet can push under them or fall through a gap. A Loop-Loc safety cover is anchored to the deck and stretched tight. It does not sag, does not shift, and does not leave openings.

On Long Island, pools sit unused for 5 to 6 months out of the year. That is half the year where your pool is an open body of water in your backyard. A safety cover turns it into a sealed, load-bearing surface until spring. Homeowners in Bay Shore, West Islip, Babylon, Deer Park, and across Nassau and Suffolk County are making this upgrade every year. It is the smartest money you can spend on a pool you already own.

Our Process

How a Safety Cover Installation Works

Three steps from first call to a fully secured pool. Here is what happens.

1

Measure Your Pool

Our crew comes out and takes exact measurements of your pool shape, dimensions, and deck layout. Every step, bench, water feature, and raised wall gets mapped. These measurements go directly to Loop-Loc so your cover is built to fit your pool and nothing else.

2

Cover Gets Manufactured

Loop-Loc builds your cover at their factory based on our measurements. Turnaround is typically 3 to 4 weeks depending on the time of year. You choose the material (mesh or solid) and the color. Every cover comes with Loop-Loc's manufacturer warranty.

3

Install and Secure

We drill brass anchors into your deck, stretch the cover across the pool, and secure every strap and spring. The cover sits flat and tight with no gaps or sag. We walk you through how to put it on and take it off yourself so you are not calling us every time the season changes.

Why Majestic

Why Long Island Homeowners Choose Majestic for Safety Covers

Loop-Loc Authorized Dealer

We sell, measure, and install Loop-Loc safety covers. That is the brand you see on pool decks across Long Island for a reason. It is the industry standard for residential pool safety covers and we have been installing them for over 25 years.

Custom Fit, Every Time

We measure your pool on-site. The cover is manufactured to those exact measurements. No off-the-shelf covers, no trimming on site, no gaps along the edges. It fits your pool because it was made for your pool.

Same Crew That Knows Your Pool

Many of our safety cover clients are already on our weekly maintenance plan. The crew that installs your cover already knows your pool, your deck, and your equipment layout.

Cover Options

Mesh vs Solid Safety Covers

Loop-Loc makes both mesh and solid safety covers. Mesh covers let rainwater and snowmelt drain through into the pool. They are lighter, easier to handle, and do not need a cover pump. Most Long Island homeowners choose mesh because it handles our snow and rain without pooling water on top.

Solid covers block all water and sunlight from entering the pool. That means less algae and cleaner water when you open in spring, but you need a cover pump to remove standing water from the surface. Solid covers are heavier and cost a bit more. Both options are anchored the same way and provide the same level of safety protection.

Year-Round Value

Your Safety Cover Works With Your Seasonal Service

If you are already using us for pool closings, your safety cover goes on as part of that visit. We drain the equipment, blow out the lines, treat the water, and stretch the safety cover across the pool in one trip. Same thing in reverse for your pool opening.

Safety covers also hold up better than vinyl winter covers over time. A Loop-Loc cover lasts 10 to 15 years with normal use. A vinyl winter cover needs replacing every 3 to 5 years and does not protect anyone from falling in. Over 10 years, the safety cover pays for itself and keeps your family protected the entire time.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a safety cover cost on Long Island?
A custom Loop-Loc safety cover for a standard rectangular pool typically runs between $1,800 and $3,500 installed. Freeform pools, pools with raised walls, or pools with water features cost more because the cover needs more custom measurements and hardware. We measure your pool and give you an exact price before you commit to anything.
How long does a Loop-Loc safety cover last?
A Loop-Loc safety cover typically lasts 10 to 15 years with normal seasonal use. Mesh covers tend to last longer than solid covers because they handle water drainage better and put less stress on the straps. Loop-Loc includes a manufacturer warranty with every cover.
Should I get a mesh or solid safety cover?
Most Long Island homeowners go with mesh. It drains rainwater and snowmelt through the cover so you do not need a pump on top. Solid covers block all light and water which means less algae in the spring, but they require a cover pump and are heavier to handle. Both provide the same level of safety protection.
Can you install a safety cover on any pool shape?
Yes. Loop-Loc covers are custom manufactured so they fit any pool shape including freeform, kidney, L-shaped, and pools with attached spas, steps, benches, or raised walls. We measure every angle and contour on site so the cover fits precisely.
Can I put the safety cover on and take it off myself?
Yes. Once the anchors are installed in your deck, putting the cover on and taking it off is straightforward. We walk you through the process during installation. Most homeowners can do it in 15 to 20 minutes with one other person. If you are on our seasonal plan, we handle it for you during pool opening and closing.
